sila is the co-founder of after5, the in-real-life friendship platform designed for ambitious women. she started after5 to solve the challenges she faced when trying to connect with like-minded women—finding it time- and energy-consuming and difficult. her mission is to make the journey fun, rewarding, and meaningful for other women. born in istanbul, türkiye, sila has lived in türkiye, sweden, spain, and now the netherlands. she previously worked in tech sales and now feels privileged to help women build supportive social circles and design fulfilling lives on their own terms. sila currently resides in rotterdam with her husband and their dog.
what advice would you give to your younger self?
there’s no rulebook for life! trust yourself, and don’t assume anyone else has the answers. embrace the joy of creating your own path, on your own terms. it’s incredible how great life can be if you continue to work hard, be brave, and stay true to your mission. building the life you truly want is one of the most fulfilling things you can do!
