during my studies in ai at the vu amsterdam i discovered my interested in technology, mainly because of the endless possibilities it has. it doesn’t matter what the problem is, there will always be a solution. whilst continuously learning and developing myself as a future tech leader at bit, i work for multiple provinces. using the most innovative technologies, i get to contribute to solving problems with high social impact. that is what i believe in, using tech for good.
why do you think it is important that role models need to be visible?
if you never see it, you won’t recognize it as a possibility! the techworld is still very male dominated, creating the (false!) idea that you have to be that in order to be able to contribute. if we show that there are already so many awesome women working in tech, we can inspire others that they can do this as well.
