for over 20 years, i’ve been working at shell, where my career started in it and engineering. after completing my studies, i joined the company and have taken on various roles since, including roles in research and development. today, i work as an operations manager, leading teams and overseeing major projects.
my passion lies in technology and innovation. in a dynamic environment, i’m always looking for ways to push boundaries and make a real impact.
what qualities are essential for success?
for me, being humble, curious, and resilient are the most important traits for success.
humbleness means being able to acknowledge that you don’t know everything, and being open to asking for help. with that also comes curiosity, allowing you to keep yourself on your toes and make sure you keep learning. this requires resilience, not to give up when faced with setbacks, but also to know when to adjust your trajectory.
failure is allowed, as long as you learn from it! keep going, keep growing!
