in 2022 female founded startups received just 0.6% of all growth capital in netherlands. that’s even less than the 1% they received in 2021. it’s irrelevant to me whether the gender gap is a result of not enough female founders, or prejudices in the funding landscape. in my view the solution starts with not accepting the status quo. as a start- & scale-up banker i commit myself to an entrepreneurial ecosystem where we strive for greater inclusion.
