tanya has a diverse international sales background, having lived and worked in north america, asia, and europe. she is now working for paypal as a senior enterprise account executive, managing a portfolio of some of the biggest brands in fashion and retail, helping them to scale and optimise their e-commerce experiences. with a passion for empowering women, she also mentors female founders to scale their online businesses.
why do you think it is important that role models need to be visible?
we all need someone to look up to at one point or another, that is why it’s important to me to model the behaviour i was missing when i started out in my career for the next generation of young women and men joining the workforce and beginning their own career journeys. in setting high standards, my hope is to help increase equity within my own organisation and inspire other women to do the same.
