i’m a biomedical researcher and vice dean of research at lumc. next to this i’m a mom of two young children. i truly enjoy science and discovering new things with my team, especially when it has the potential to help patients or society. i furthermore get great satisfaction from helping members of my team to grow as a scientist and person. i like to learn from others and collaborate when it comes to implementing the newest technologies in my field of research. as a vice dean i get the opportunity to improve the research culture and research support at our institute recognizing and rewarding team science and individual qualities. aside from work i love gardening, hiking, playing with my children and eating fried food 🙂
