my career spans tech startups, venture capital, and banking. i believe challenges can be overcome by leading with strong values, integrity, and kindness. diversity and inclusion don’t lower standards — they expand the talent pool and lead to better outcomes. by being visible as a woman in leadership, i hope to encourage others to step forward with confidence.
why do you think it is important that role models need to be visible?
visible role models show people what is possible. when we see different leadership styles and backgrounds represented, more people realize they could grow into a leadership role as well. visibility helps break stereotypes and brings more talent into leadership. i believe leaders should be visible not to stand out, but to show that leadership can be inclusive, ethical, and human.
