why is international women’s day important for you?

international women’s day matters to me because it is about global solidarity and shared responsibility. in my work on inclusive energy transition and as co-founder of 75inq, i see how inequalities between north and south shape access to clean, sustainable energy. a just transition must leave no one behind and ensure equal access for all communities. this day honors women leading change worldwide, while recognizing that men are equally vital ambassadors for a gender-just energy transition. together, across borders and sectors, we can build energy systems that are fair, inclusive, and truly transformative.
