i was born and raised in rotterdam, where we believe actions speak louder than words. my work focuses on making european rules workable in practice. this takes curiosity and an open mind. by stepping outside my comfort zone, i explore new directions. this helps me reach the goals i set for myself.
why do you think it is important that role models need to be visible?
visibility matters because it shapes what we believe is possible. when role models are visible, they challenge stereotypes and expand our sense of who belongs where. role models don’t have to be perfect or exceptional. they just need to be authentic. seeing someone who looks like you, or shares your story, makes ambition feel possible. representation turns belief into possibility.
