counselor, female coach at gold in balance

about

born in mozambique and raised in portugal, i learned early how to adapt and grow. after a year in london, i moved to the netherlands at age 22, where my passion for sports, connection, and social impact shaped my path. sports gave me a top-performance mindset that still drives me today. after my first year learning dutch, i became an irradiation therapist, and ten years later retrained as a social worker. with experience in education, rehabilitation, and the social domain, i launched my own coaching company 1.5 years ago, empowering women with energy, resilience, and purpose.

who is a woman (past or present) you wish more people knew about, and why?

maya angelou! grateful, that the quote of the campagne is coming from her. she is inspiring me and thousands of others for many years as a rol model. knowing are personal story and background is absolutely stanish what she achieved and the way she did that. inspiring, empowered and resiliante.

gold in balance

“each time a woman stands up for herself, without knowing it or claiming it, she stands up for all women.” — maya angelou

women hold the power the world needs to move forward. real social impact demands courage—the courage to be visible, to speak up, and to challenge the status quo. awareness, change, and sustainability do not happen in silence. when women use their voices, they create momentum for something greater than themselves. standing up is not just personal; it is a collective act that shapes a stronger, fairer future.
