throughout my years in the finance and it world, i’ve often been one of the few women in senior positions. even though diversity is essential at every level, it remains a challenge to help more women grow into leadership roles and to truly support them along the way. that’s why i find it so important to show that it is possible. i want to contribute to creating paths for more women to advance—not only for their benefit, but for the companies they work in. when women rise, organizations gain new perspectives, stronger teams, and real added value.
what or who inspired you to pursue your chosen career?
i was inspired by my aunt, who spent 40 years working at rabobank. she showed me that women can build successful careers and that their ambitions don’t have to be limited to household or family responsibilities. her example opened my eyes to what’s possible and encouraged me to pursue my own path with confidence.
