priya gajadhar(she/her)
co-founder and coo at hymonic
about
my name is priya gajadhar,co-founder of hymonic,a deep tech start-up developing scalable ammonia cracking systems for decentralized hydrogen production.i am a chemical engineer, and throughout my career i was often the only woman in technical and leadership rooms. that experience shaped me. it taught me resilience, precision, and the importance of taking up space with confidence. today, i work at the intersection of engineering and strategy, building climate infrastructure that matters. i hope that by being visible in this role, more women see that technical leadership is not only possible but it is also necessary.
what or who inspired you to pursue your chosen career?
i realized too many women’s lives are summarized by roles, not impact or ambition. that made me ask myself: if i disappeared tomorrow, how would i be remembered? i wanted my life to reflect purpose, not just titles. i chose this career to build meaningful, tangible impact and to lead by example. my goal is to inspire girls and women, no matter their background, to pursue their ambitions relentlessly, claim the space they deserve, and fight for what they want. leadership and contribution are not defined by gender but by courage, vision, and action.
hymonic
at hymonic, diversity in engineering is by design. with a female co-founder as chief engineer, inclusive leadership has guided our technology and culture from day one. in deep tech and heavy industry, broader representation at the engineering table is essential, and we are committed to ensuring women actively define our innovation and growth trajectory.
