Not to work and produce more or strive towards toxic wellness, but to create space where they can rest and enjoy life. A lot of times we place a lof of emphasis on personal development. That is why I work with Studio Stoofpot to help organizations create more accessible, diverse and inclusive spaces.”
Why do you think is important that Role Models need to be visible?
“We all want the “best person” for the “right place”. However, humans are biased to make decisions towards what’s familiar to them. And if one isn’t familiar with diversity, it’s harder to be inclusive. On a personal level, for our own goals and dreams. As well as on an organizational level, for our (potential) colleagues, students, managers etc.”
