What would the world be like without the innovations of Marie Curie? Or without the advancements of Margaret Hamilton? TNO believes in the strength of women, and that everyone, however different, should have the same opportunities to take part and to grow. In society in general, and also as an employee and colleague. By combining our unique strengths we can successfully innovate and have an impact on society. About
”I am Geerte, a policy advisor, social psychologist, and researcher. I am passionate about sustainability and finding out how to secure a livable world for ourselves and the next generations. This challenge requires insight into the psyche of humans and the bigger system around humans, in which we function. And the real challenge is the implement this knowledge into effective and acceptable policies and legislation. I love to dive deep into problems and apply the outcomes of research.”
What or Who inspired you to pursue your chosen career?
“I have been wanting to contribute to societal problems from a young age. Making the world a better place. I was inspired by book on climate change and economics to focus my time and energy on the greatest challenge of this time.”
