What you see around you is what you perceive as reality. When as a young girl you only see male leaders around you and on television, you do not perceive yourself to be able to ever be in this kind of position. A lot of talent is wasted by this. It is proven that a male-female balance is better for workplaces and companies, which is why I support the Equals campaign!

”My name is Liselotte, 32 years old and I studied industrial design engineering at the TU Delft. After studies, my friend Leonard Moonen asked me to start a company with him; praxa sense. Praxa Sense is a medtech company, we create a monitoring system containing multiple sensors that can remotely monitor a patient. With algorithms, we automatically analyse the data and provide a diagnosis. Our vision is to humanize healthcare by automate what can be automated, so there is more time for personal contact.”
Why do you think is important that Role Models need to be visible?
“Female energy is very powerful and strong, but typically also modest. Role Models can make people aware that it is possible to achieve things, even though you are not a typical person to be in a position of power or success.”
