4IMPACT
“Women are vastly under-represented in venture capital. As part of this small group, we have a responsibility to support one another, and to encourage and inspire others to get involved, particularly younger women. We also want to remind the world that it has been proven time and time again that diverse views result in better decision-making. There is strength in diversity!”

About
“I am a mechanical engineer, turned banker, turned investor. I am happily married with 3 kids. I’ve lived across the world and am now back in The Netherlands. I work with incredibly smart and diverse people and really enjoy what I do. In 2019 I co-founded 4impact where we invest in early-stage companies that use digital technology to solve the world’s greatest problems. I am using my skills, network and experience to invest in a better future.”
What or Who inspired you to pursue your chosen career?
“The 25% rule: in order for a group to adopt a new behaviour, only 25% of the group need to change in order to influence and convert the rest. It is easy to sit on the side-line and expect other people to find solutions to the world’s problems, but in order to get to the 25% a quickly as possible, we need to do something about it ourselves.”
