“Having studied Strategic Management I have always been intrigued by large international companies and the challenges and opportunities they face. When I finished university I came across the Graduate Program from ABN AMRO Clearing. I already knew ABN AMRO Bank but had never heard of Clearing which spiked my interest. Their international presence and importance for the financial markets were what made me apply.”
Why do you think is important that Role Models need to be visible?
“The power of seeing someone you can personally relate to in a role that you aspire to have one day is highly underestimated. Making your own path is always an option but seeing someone walk on it before you can be a strong motivator to keep working hard for your goals. It makes you realize that the things you envision for yourself are, indeed, possible.”
