”I joined Lepaya in its startup phase (we were eight people in total back then, and now we’re about 200) as Fullstack Developer. It was a big step in my career (corporate to startup, different country, different working language), very challenging and rewarding at the same time. In the last four years, I have had the opportunity to grow alongside Lepaya, facing many challenges and working in different domains, always from the technical side. A few months ago, I became the Tech Lead of a fantastic squad of six smart and, more importantly, very nice developers.”
What qualities do you think are essential for success?
”Success is a tricky term because it has different meanings for different people. It might be a bit philosophical, but what worked for me and is still working is always keeping in mind that trying and failing are key. Making mistakes and learning from them is a great tool. And this applies perfectly to Software Development. Besides that, finding balance in your personal/professional life, being empathetic and kind to others and enjoying what you’re doing.”
