about
i studied business administration; my major was information management. i worked for 15 years with an it company for different customers in the logistics and telecom industry. mainly on the subject of information exchange. i then discovered the health sector. i find it inspiring since there is so much to gain in getting the information at the right place at the right time. in my free time, i enjoy sports, such as volleyball, tennis and skiing. i also enjoy travelling with my family; i love being in nature, for example, by doing safaris in africa.
what advice would you give to your younger self?
be more persistent in pursuing what you want. i was quite flexible with my employers in working in jobs that created the most value for them then. however, looking back, they probably would have been willing to invest in me to acquire the skills i wanted. at the time, we chose the easiest road forward.
