about

chantal stekelenburg is head of hackers at zerocopter. she takes care of one of the most important aspects of zerocopter’s services: our community of hackers. as a co-founder and organizer of wicca (women in cybersecurity community association), she is also involved in bringing infosec ladies and (female) security enthusiasts together to learn about exploits, hacking, incident response, forensics, the low-level stuff, hardware hacking, and especially making bad crypto jokes! her main goal is to build a community of badass women in the netherlands and hopefully inspire future generations to join keyboards and get the hacking started!

why do you think it is important that role models need to be visible?

at wicca, we embrace the power of positivity and the remarkable outcomes stemming from the initiatives aimed at fostering diversity in the cybersecurity community and the broader tech world. we focus on celebrating the fruits of our collective labor—highlighting exceptional work, groundbreaking research, and the unwavering efforts that propel our community forward. as we get together, we leave an impact on the world, shaping a future where diversity reigns, innovation thrives, and boundaries are shattered. we redefine what is possible and pave the way for a brighter, more inclusive tech world.”
