about

hi, i’m dominique. currently living and studying in amsterdam, after 20 years spent in france where i graduated from business & management degree. i emigrated back to the netherlands for work initially within the crm-field. during this experience i got a peak into the it world and decided to challenged myself into pursuing a career in this field. this brought me to codam, where i’m currently a software engineer student.

what advice would you give to your younger self?

to trust yourself and your choices, as there is no perfect path, career wise nor in life. all your decisions will bring opportunities down the road. when i was younger i had no clue which career path to pursue, so i went for a more “broad” study to leave my choices open, and from there went into the working field to see what was out there and what might interest me so i could choose my following degree/study based on it.

just cease the chances, don’t overthink it and be kind towards yourself!
