karish resodikromo
applicatie specialist at gvb
about
hi! my name is karish resodikromo. i live in amsterdam zuid-oost with my husband and our son. currently, i hold the position of application specialist and scrum master at gvb. it brings me joy to contribute to a product integral to my daily life and to serve the vibrant city of amsterdam. despite my background in communication, i made a career transition from sales to tech during the pandemic. best career decision ever! when i don’t sit behind my laptop, you’ll likely find me attending dance classes, exploring various restaurants, or enjoying quality time with my family.
why do you think it is important that role models need to be visible?
i believe it is crucial for role models to be visible because, during a transitional period between jobs, i personally experienced the significance of having relatable figures. in my quest to acquire new tech skills, my initial instinct was to explore my network for individuals facing similar challenges. this led me to discover various it communities and initiatives dedicated to fostering diversity in the tech industry. the inspiration i derived from this experience fueled my commitment to assisting others in entering or sustaining their presence in the tech field.
