about

i have a blend of working for big brands and self-employment. the first chapter of my professional life is a testament to over two decades of experience, leadership, and mentorship in retail marketing and consumer experience design at gap, selfridges, burberry, and nike.

i embarked on an entrepreneurial journey focused on my first love of designing physical and digital spaces in 2019 at the space atelier. in 2023, i launched her career space as i was challenged to communicate the multifaceted nature of my professional life.

beyond professional endeavours, my journey includes artistic ventures, volunteerism, health, wellness, and family time.

who or what inspired you to pursue your chosen career?

i’m inspired to change the narrative for women’s professional identities. i pivoted my life in mid-career and identified that women are often written out of the workplace at this stage, which inspired her career space.

after launching my startup, i learned that women receive less than 6% of investment deals in the nl. inspiration is finding a solution and knowing we can’t settle for less than equality.

inspired to take action and create real change, i support and empower women to share their career stories. march 8th is more than a day; it’s a movement we can all carry daily.

empowering women in career advancement and fostering a more equitable workforce is essential. despite progress, gender gaps persist for employed and self-employed women and women returning to the workplace.

we can create a more equitable workforce through awareness, visibility and investing in women at every stage of their career development.
education on recognising skills over age is crucial for a just workplace. women deserve equal opportunities and the chance to contribute throughout their professional journey.

establishing role models and challenging stereotypes can create a workplace where diversity thrives.

let’s work together to ensure women claim their space.
