about
hi,
i am neriman polat and i live with my 2 daughters (14 and 17) in koog aan de zaan.
i have had sales positions for many years and have been working in the mortgage industry for over 20 years now. i have now been an mt member at a.s.r. in the mortgages business line for over 2 years. i have always worked full time because i get a lot of energy from my work in addition to being a mother. i also think it is very important to be financially independent and i give that to my daughters as well. in my free time, apart from spending time with my daughters, i also spend time with family, friends, playing sports and eating out. i am very interested in a lot of things, which is why i read a lot and about everything.
why is international women’s day important for you?
actually, an international women’s day should not be necessary at all. unfortunately, there are still issues why we still need to pay attention to women’s rights, also in the netherlands. think of the increase in femicide, the pay gap between women and men in the same positions, women who are not financially independent, women who are victims of sexual harassment, too little knowledge about women’s health and the worldwide growth of anti-abortion movements.
