hello! i’m nezaket mun, a turkish and second-generation dutch woman, working as a salesforce devops engineer at 2manydigits. two years ago, i transitioned into this role through techgrounds, within just five months. this marked a significant departure from my 15-year (inter)national hospitality career. this journey revealed possibilities i never knew were available for someone with no tech background. that’s why i proudly serve as a techgrounds community ambassador, aiming to showcase, especially women, that they too can do it. my goal is to build a safe community for the next generation. beyond work, my hobbies include pattern design, henna art, and gaming.why do you think it is important that role models need to be visible?
it’s important because it offers clear examples of success and inspiration in different kinds of shapes and forms. what seems as another day for you might be, what feels like an unreachable, goal for someone else. it breaks down barriers and communicates that success is achievable for everyone, regardless of gender, ethnicity, or other differences
