about
my name is pascal and via various big it implementation projects, i sort of rolled into it organically. i have been an application specialist for 5+ years now, since june 2022 at gvb. the dynamic combination of people, processes and systems make me love it. i enjoy supporting gvb operations with new smart solutions and i manage business critical systems. this way i strive together with my team to improve the experience for our colleagues and our travelers. what i really appreciate is that the impact of my work is immediately visible. it gives meaning to my work.what or who inspired you to pursue your chosen career?
i don’t have a typical it background and had not thought of myself working in it. i think it’s important for people to see that there isn’t a singular path to it. my team consists of diverse people, with different strengths and equally diverse educational backgrounds. this ensures that we fit together well and form a complete team. i think different work and life experiences helps you think outside the box, be more creative in problem solving and find the best solutions
