i joined gvb as a project management officer, where i worked on a diverse range of projects. after a few years, i felt the need for a new challenge. during that period, i was involved in an it project where i appreciated the team’s energy and drive to accomplish the set goals. when the opportunity for a contract manager position arose, i eagerly embraced it, despite it being unfamiliar territory. as i continue to learn on the job, i find myself drawn to the direction i’m heading, particularly within the it domain. i see a promising future ahead for me in this field.
what advice would you give to your younger self?
be yourself. trust your instincts and abilities. don’t let anyone shake your confidence or question your worth. you’ve got what it takes to achieve anything you set your mind to. stay true to yourself. and, remember to enjoy life, stay positive, and see every challenge as a new adventure.
