sibylla bantema, living in leeuwarden, together with taco en our 2 children. since 2010 senior manager for aegon netherlands and after the merger of a.s.r. and aegon netherlands in 2023 vice director for the individual live portfolio, with more than 1,1 million clients. at my best when i can achieve a result on complex issues, together with a diverse and driven group of people.
what advice would you give to your younger self?
i have a lot of advice for the younger sibylla. like;try to take more distance or sometimes 100% (or even 80%) is good enough. but also practical;organize your housekeeping and childcare, this creates a lot of mental space that you can use in a different way. and finally, a tip that works for everyone, focus on the things you are really good at, instead of putting lots of effort in less developed talents.
