about
i am an electrical engineer from iran, currently working at shell in the electrical department at pernis. i completed my master’s degree in (electrical_electronic) engineering in iran and pursued a nanomaterial master course at utrecht university in the netherlands. i have been living in the netherlands since 2020 and started my career at shell last year. i am grateful to be a part of shell as it has been my dream to work in the electrical field in shell. after moving to the netherlands, i obtained my work permit and came across the shell learning program. i completed the 4.5-month dedicated technical and soft skill training and started contributing to the project team. as a woman working in the technical field, i have faced many situations that have made me stronger both personally and professionally. i am proud to say that i believe in myself and my abilities to develop my knowledge in my field because i enjoy my work.
what qualities do you think are essential for success?
success can be achieved through various qualities. in my opinion, some of the essential qualities for success in professionals are ambition, dedication, passion, patience, and willingness to learn. if you have a learner mindset, curiosity in the workplace, and a desire to enhance your skills and qualifications, you can achieve your goals and become successful. but generally, remember that success is a journey, not a destination. keep up the good work!
