about

met mijn kleurrijke persoonlijkheid en enthousiasme zorg ik ervoor dat mijn studenten hun nieuwsgierigheid aangewakkerd wordt. als gedreven docent / (moleculair) bioloog, prikkel ik hen om vragen te durven stellen. buiten de lijnen kleuren, onderzoekende houding en een gezonde dosis lef: als docent deel ik niet zomaar kennis, maar wakker ik graag verwondering aan bij jongeren en neem ik hen mee in de wereld van biologie zodat zij experts kunnen worden in waar hun interesse ligt.

what advice would you give to your younger self?

laat je verwonderen, volg je hart en bewandel daarin je eigen pad in plaats van het pad van andermans verwachtingen. ik geef graag deze quote mee “what you do, makes a difference. it is for you to decide what kind of difference you want to make” (jane goodall)
