my name is jamie, and i work as an educational team leader in the technology sector. i lead a dedicated team of teachers in engineering and production technology. together, we prepare students for the challenges of tomorrow, focusing on both technical expertise and personal growth. before becoming a team leader, i taught software development, and i now use that experience to support colleagues, improve education, and drive innovation.
what advice would you give to your younger self?
if i could give my younger self one piece of advice, it would be: think outside the box! i never imagined ending up in this role and sector, yet i enjoy it every single day. by staying open to new opportunities, you often find yourself in places you never expected. sometimes your path takes an unexpected turn and that can be the best surprise of all.
