about

i come from ukraine and studied mathematics there before continuing my studies in germany. initially, i pursued a phd in frankfurt, aiming to be a scientist, but i realized my true passion was programming. after some internships, i transitioned into software development—and now, 15 years later, i still love it. i’ve worked in various fields and now develop an investing app at bux, helping people, especially women, build their financial future. i enjoy solving complex problems and creating innovative, meaningful tech solutions.

why do you think it is important that role models need to be visible?

i would love to see more women in tech. visibility is crucial because young girls and women need to see that everything is possible – that they belong in this field just as much as anyone else. seeing role models can inspire confidence, break stereotypes, and open doors to opportunities they might not have considered. i also want to set this example for my daughter, showing her that she can achieve anything she sets her mind to. the more diverse voices we have in tech, the better solutions we can build for everyone.

bux

at bux, we believe investing should be accessible to everyone — including women, who remain underrepresented in finance and tech. that’s why we’re putting our female employees forward as role models, sharing their stories to inspire confidence and action. inclusivity and diversity are essential, not just in investing, but in leadership and the tech industry as a whole. we want to empower more women to take charge of their financial futures and careers.
