my name is anoek schellings, and i am the managing director at cadmes, with branches in the benelux and france. i have a background in science and marketing, which helps me tackle complex challenges with analytical and strategic thinking.
beyond my professional role, i am an active and creative individual, a mother, and someone who enjoys spending time outdoors. i thrive on trying new things and collaborating with my team and our clients to achieve ambitious improvement goals—celebrating our successes along the way. while some may see me as unstructured, i believe it fosters flexibility and innovation .

why do you think it is important that role models need to be visible?
role models need to be visible because we visualize what we know. ask a chinese person to draw a cookie, and they might draw a fortune cookie. ask a dutch person, and they might draw a “stroopwafel”. ask an american, and they might draw an oreo. we don’t visualize what we don’t know. this is why role models are crucial, especially in fields like it, engineering, and management, traditionally dominated by men. at cadmes, we believe in breaking barriers and empowering individuals. by showcasing diverse role models, we inspire the next generation to see no limits to what they can achieve.
