hi i’m ilse, and i am a cyber security analyst at eye security.
i always knew i wanted to do something meaningful and but i wasn’t sure which career path to take.
although i initially studied linguistics, it didn’t feel like the right thing for me. i started to think about things that i truly enjoyed and it was mostly experimenting with some basic website coding or getting creative with game mechanics on my computer. i think that’s what led me to cyber security and my current role.
i can actively protect the digital world from evolving cyber threats and create a safer online environment. it definitely hits the mark of a having a meaningful career.
what qualities do you think are essential for success?
we all have different definition of success – and that’s okay! i try to balance following both my heart and making the logical decisions to chose the path for myself. with confidence, hard work and a clear vision, everyone can achieve their version of success!
