i am a creative media professional, strategic thinker, storyteller and connector.
my love for stories started when i watched annie in a movie theater as a young girl. although i am not a big musical fan, i was totally mesmerized by the big screen and the girl’s story; a strong, sturdy and charming little personality, who cares about the people around her and never gives up.
studying film- and television sciences led me to rtl, first as a creative, later in leadership and currently as business process manager of the content supply chain, where i still can use my creative skills.
with a keen eye for detail and a love for innovation, i am constantly pushing the boundaries and looking for new opportunities.
when not working, you can find me cooking, baking sourdough bread and cookies, playing boardgames and travelling with my family.
what advice would you give your younger self?
embrace what others might see as imperfections or weaknesses. they make you who you are. instead of trying to change and become what others think of as the norm, use these unique characteristics to your advantage.
and surround yourself with people who help you to challenge yourself, who excite you and help you grow.

for years, gender representation is one of the priorities within rtl nederland. as one of the biggest media-organisations of our country, we are convinced that it is our responsiblity to represent women in all functions and showcase our female role models for their unique talents and drive: to our colleagues as well as to the broader public. we take this responsibility very seriously and are making good progress, but we can always improve. both on screen and behind the scenes. we see it as a privilige to affirm girls and women how crucial their place is in society and in our company.
