i always said that if i won the lottery, i would have time to learn to code. but why wait?

exactly two years ago, i came across this campaign, and now i’m part of it myself. how incredible can life be? through this campaign, i discovered equals and the academy, which finally helped me take steps toward making my dream career switch.

after a three-month boot camp to become a full-stack developer and an amazing opportunity through brunel, i’m finally happy in my job again. in my current role as a devops engineer, i get to code in java for the backend of a web application while also working with the kubernetes platform that everything runs on. there’s still so much to explore and learn. it’s truly amazing to work in it. nerds gonna be nerds. so if you want to become one of us, you’re more than welcome! i just wish i had made this career switch sooner.
