about

hi, i’m pander. i recently joined the tech industry as a trainee at bit, a new tech innovation studio in amsterdam. currently, i am joining boon edam to create ai and data driven solutions within their company. with my data science master’s degree i have obtained a foundation for my understanding of the tools. combined with my psychology bachelor’s degree i aim to use these solutions for good and apply them to adequate challenges by focusing not just on tech but on the conversation about it.

why do you think it is important that role models need to be visible?

representation is powerful – it shapes how we see the world and our place in it. the tech field is growing at an extraordinary pace, becoming a cornerstone of our everyday lives. it’s not just about innovation; it’s about who gets to drive it. women deserve to have an active role in shaping this future, influencing how technology evolves and impacts society. female role models can help women envision themselves in these spaces and hopefully inspire them to join us.

bit

at bit, we believe diverse teams drive innovation. yet, stigmas discourage many women from pursuing technical studies, perpetuating inequality in the tech industry. joining the equals role model campaign reflects our commitment to dismantling these barriers and inspiring a new generation of leaders.

to the bold women shaping the future of tech: your presence at bit is invaluable. together, we foster a culture of respect, equity, and collaboration, where all voices are heard. representation matters because seeing what’s possible fuels dreams. at bit, we celebrate diversity, knowing brilliant ideas are born when everyone has the opportunity to lead.
