i am sofie, a passionate technical professional with experience in programming and technical project management. currently, i lead a team in network operations.
what or who inspired you to pursue your chosen career?
my role model has always been my mom. too often, girls and women hesitate to pursue careers in technical fields because they don’t see role models they can relate to or picture themselves in those roles. i was lucky—my mom was an independent woman herself and always supported me, and that made all the difference. now, i’ll do the same for my daughter. but beyond that, by being visible as a woman in this profession, i hope to inspire even more girls and women to see a future for themselves in technology.
