born and raised in greece, i put down roots in amsterdam in 2011. today, i’m proud to work on digital innovation for the city i call home. here, i can put my personal values (transparency & fairness) into action, by contributing to responsible ai solutions. despite being tech-centred, technology itself is rarely the most complicated part of my work. the real puzzle is understanding how ai impacts people’s lives and translating that into transparent and fair ai that creates public value.
i want young women to know that…
even though the world seems to be moving in the wrong direction, there will always be people who will stand up for equality, fairness, and our rights. for the people that are not always aware of experiences, challenges, and fears beyond their own: start the conversation, share your thoughts, and above all keep asking questions. be curious, use your questions to understand other views and challenge their assumptions. by engaging in dialogue, you can help create awareness of all these different perspectives, it’s a relatively simple but powerful first step.
