about
my name is sabrina. i am passionate about creating environments where everyone feels seen, heard, valued, and able to contribute as their authentic selves. we are all shaped by many intersecting aspects of our identity, background, and life experiences. this is why representation matters: seeing people with different perspectives and lived experiences in education, organisations, and society can expand what we believe is possible.
why diversity day is important for you?
diversity day is important to me because it reminds us that talent, potential, and ambition exist everywhere, but opportunities and visibility are not always equally accessible. it is a moment to recognise and value different people and perspectives, challenge what we think is the norm, and strengthen a sense of belonging. while diversity day helps create awareness, creating inclusive environments in education and the workplace is something we should strive for every day. by embracing different perspectives, we can create spaces where people feel valued, can be themselves, and have the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.
