about

i’m wendy, 36, proud of the life i’ve built with my wife and our two daughters, and of the journey that brought me here. over the past 15 years, i’ve grown from a young professional into a team leader, while also growing as a person. some experiences challenged me in ways i never expected, but they taught me what really matters and the importance of staying true to myself.

what advice would you give to your younger self?

if i could give my younger self one piece of advice, it would be this: you don’t have to choose between being accepted and being yourself. for years, i tried to be who others expected me to be, ignoring what i needed. the moment i stopped trying to fit into other people’s expectations, i became happier, stronger, and more at peace with who i am. not everyone will understand your choices, and that’s okay. what matters is being true to yourself and having people who see, support, and accept you. trust your voice, protect your peace, and remember: being yourself is worth it.

role models have the power to make possibilities visible. when people see someone they can relate to, it becomes easier to imagine a path for themselves. that is why representation matters. by joining this campaign, we celebrate the many different experiences, perspectives and journeys that make up our organization. we hope the role models in this campaign inspire others to embrace who they are, challenge expectations, and see that there is no single way to build a career, a family, or a life.
