about

i’m ariadine, a.k.a. dine, a brazilian software engineer living in the netherlands and currently working at funda. i’m passionate about building meaningful digital experiences and solving problems that make people’s lives a little easier. over the years, i’ve grown a lot, not just technically, but personally, navigating different cultures, challenges, and opportunities. being a woman in tech hasn’t always been easy, but it’s something i’m proud of, and i love contributing to a more diverse and inclusive industry.

who is a woman (past or present) you wish more people knew about, and why?

a woman i wish more people knew about is jaqueline goes de jesus. she’s a brazilian scientist who helped sequence the covid-19 genome in brazil in record time. beyond her work in science, she speaks openly about representation and inequality in academia. her story shows that progress in stem and in women’s rights only happens when we keep pushing for space, visibility, and opportunity.

funda

funda’s mission is clear: helping everyone in the netherlands move forward in their housing journey. it is a responsibility deeply felt by everyone at funda, because the work we do together shapes one of the most significant moments in the lives of millions of people across the country. we can only do this well by building diverse teams and bringing together different perspectives. through our participation in equals women in tech, we aim to increase the visibility of women in technology and create space for more role models like jome and ariadine.
