about
as a little girl, i wanted to be a boy, mainly because the local soccer club wouldn’t let me play, despite my older brother’s intense goalie trainings. i never understood why “no” applied to me. i later found my place in professional field hockey, captaining a team and thriving on shared ambition. today, as an entrepreneur and mother of two daughters, i see that question of equal opportunity return, and i’m still motivated to keep kicking the ball forward.
what advice would you give to your younger self?
being a woman isn’t a limitation, it’s a superpower. differences are a strength, not a flaw. equality isn’t about being the same; the goal is equity, with equal value and opportunities for all. being a woman will bring challenges, yet it will also open doors. so step through them, use your voice, and build a world where everyone can thrive.
