about

i am a namibian, born and raised, and my story began with a simple dream. i pursued my studies in geology and later completed a master’s degree in sustainable natural resource management. i am a passion-driven individual, committed to continuously pushing myself to grow, learn, and take on new challenges. my journey has taken me across several countries and exposed me to different perspectives, shaping who i am today. i now work with libs sensing technologies, contributing to better natural resource characterisation. i strongly believe that representation matters. seeing women in technical and leadership roles expands what young women believe is possible. guided by maya angelou’s words, “still i rise,” i see setbacks as opportunities to move forward with clarity and resilience. my story is simple: hold onto your dreams, take up space, and remain authentically yourself. it is the best badge you can wear.

i want young women to know that…

i want young women to know that it is okay to figure things out as you go. as long as you have a dream for yourself and understand what drives you and brings you happiness, you are moving in the right direction. work hard and fuel that dream with intention. take each step with purpose; the more steps you take, the clearer the path becomes. do not dim your light, because the world needs more of your authenticity. dig deep into your passion, ask questions, speak up when you do not understand, and advocate for yourself. you have something valuable to offer. once you recognise it, find your seat at the table and take it with confidence.
