what advice would you give to your younger self?
whether you’re bold or cautious, loud or quiet – everything about you is exactly right. you don’t need to change who you are to belong; the right environment will see your unique qualities as an asset. your personal growth begins the moment you stop adapting and start embracing who you are. trust your intuition, stay curious about your own talents, and dare to take up space. being average is boring. there is nothing more powerful than a woman who is unapologetically her authentic self.
about
almost three years ago i started as a trainee at rabobank and now i work as a project manager financial health, participate in the talent program, and have been recognized as a high potential. in the past, i often felt different and constantly adapted myself. at rabobank, i’m not asked to fit in – i’m encouraged to stay true to myself. my creativity, drive, and authenticity are valued across every department. that recognition accelerated my growth and taught me to trust my neurodivergent brain. as a project manager, i develop initiatives that promote inclusive customer service and embed accessibility into our offerings, which enables more customers to bank independently and strengthens their financial health. i aim to raise awareness of brain diversity in organizations and highlight the positive impact of neurodiversity in the workplace. high-performing teams thrive when individual strengths are embraced. my colleagues believe in my power – and i believe in the power of differences.
