about
i’m sacha, a 24-year-old ai developer and tech lead at bit, currently finishing my master’s in artificial intelligence.
during my studies, i started working at bit, where i truly learned to apply my knowledge to real-life cases. alongside my work, i’m working on my master’s thesis in ai for healthcare, an area i really enjoy, as it feels like a place where ai can genuinely do good. for me, using ai where it truly makes sense and can have real-world impact is what makes it meaningful.
at bit, i work as an ai developer and tech lead on various projects. i’m constantly learning from the talented people around me and pushing myself to grow. i believe that working with ai also means being critical: understanding its limitations and knowing that it’s not always the right solution is just as important as building it. i love tackling new challenges and leveraging the diversity in perspectives and backgrounds within our team to develop new tech while learning along the way.
why do you think it is important that role models need to be visible?
i work in a male dominated field, and i love seeing other women working in tech. it’s inspiring and eye-opening, and it shows what is possible beyond the paths people, and especially women, are often guided toward. role models are particularly important for young people, as they can spark interest in fields or directions you might not even have considered before. without visible role models, it becomes harder to imagine yourself in unfamiliar roles, and ambition has less space to grow.
