”After studying public administration, I started working as a consultant focused on social issues. In this job, after about a year, I discovered the potential of technology to provide answers to increasingly complex social issues. At that moment I made a switch in my way of working. I solved customer issues in collaboration with tech start-ups; solutions with blockchain and AI were central. Now, as Head of Data Lab at the Ministry of Defense, I get the opportunity to take the next step with my team to focus on the development of state of the art data science applications contributing to our national security.”
Why do you think is important that Role Models need to be visible?
“Because regardless of the moment in life when a women enters the tech sector, she can be of great value. Making role models visible can give other women the confidence to start working in tech.”
