TOMTOM
Technology plays an enormous role in our lives, as it continues to evolve and solve new problems every day. Yet women in tech are majorly underrepresented. At TomTom, we’re working hard to boost representation, equity and inclusion. But we know we can do more. Joining Equals for IWD is another step in the right direction. We’re thrilled to celebrate TomTom role models while inspiring girls and women everywhere to pursue world-changing careers in tech.

About
“Having started my career as a software developer for Microsoft, I was humbled to have access to some great products and people who instilled core values in me about positive impact. Ever since, I have navigated several industries and role definitions across geographies, however, the ultimate vision is always identical. As a Product Manager, I am fortunate to interact with customers and cross functional teams alike, this helps in refining and solving the right problems.”
What or Who inspired you to pursue your chosen career?
“Several key leaders, including my Mother (now a retired professor yet still continues to write and publish her books), Barack Obama (against all odds and an inspiration to everyone who was ever told they don’t deserve success because they were different) and Kalpana Chawla, the first female Indian astronaut in space (she achieved an impossible feat, RIP).”
